This multi-storey Class 2 residential building in Waitara exhibited extensive balcony waterproofing failures and water ingress affecting 32 units, including balcony and basement areas. Confidence Building Consultants acted for the strata corporation, providing investigation, design, budgeting and full project management of the rectification works. Our role encompassed developing and managing the project budget, procuring consultants and contractors, coordinating approvals and tendering, and overseeing construction and completion. The targeted replacement of balcony membranes, retiling and associated remedial works resolved chronic water ingress issues and improved the overall performance of the building.
