The owners of a c.1960s two-storey home in Vaucluse were concerned about structural deterioration and rising damp, and sought guidance to preserve and modernise their property. Confidence Building Consultants identified building defects, prepared a rectification strategy and managed the tender and construction processes. Works addressed rising damp and lateral moisture movement through the walls and façade, roof waterproofing, and structural repairs. The project also included external landscaping, architecturally designed perimeter pool fencing, upgraded front fencing, balcony repairs and repainting. The result was a modernised façade and external environment, together with significantly improved waterproofing and durability.
