Evan managed the construction of a new loading dock and storage facility at Surrey Memorial Hospital while at Bird Construction Company. Responsibilities included liaison with hospital stakeholders and consultants, coordination of mechanical, electrical and operational systems, and control of budget and programme. He oversaw procurement and administration of subcontractors, implemented ISO 9000 quality management plans, and managed progressive handover to support hospital logistics and operations.
