The owners of a Lyons Street, Dover Heights dwelling were concerned about leaking balconies, ground water ingress and moisture damage to internal and external walls. Confidence Building Consultants conducted detailed investigations and testing to determine the cause and extent of damage, followed by full design and project management of balcony remediation and façade upgrades. The works included new waterproofing systems and glass balustrades to front balconies, perimeter drainage improvements to prevent ground floor water ingress, and roof repairs, as well as engagement of consultants and contractors. A hot water system upgrade was also integrated into the project to improve overall building services.
