Evan managed the construction of the 36 and 37 Squadron HQ building and storage facility for the RAAF. He had overall responsibility for site personnel and subcontractors, partnering with the client and consultants to deliver the project on time and within budget. His role included monthly progress and financial reporting, OH&S and quality assurance oversight, and implementation of ISO 9000 quality management plans. Evan also helped establish controls and procedures to achieve a 5 Star Green Star rating under the Green Building Council of Australia framework.
